Lok Rashtriya Degree College Jasrana is one of the oldest academic institutions of district Firozabad famous for glass industry across the world. It was founded by Vishnu Dayal Verma a well known politician as well as academician. The face of the college opens towards the rising land of Lord Sun, the back of the college is towards the setting land of Lord Sun, the north direction kisses the feet of Kamakhya dham and vindhyavasini and in the south is situated shikohabad settled by Mughal emperor Dara shikoh. In those days when the jasranawas very backward in the field of education and then L R Inter College was founded by The Lodhi Rajput Academic Association under the leadership of late Vishnu Dayal Verma ji. This institution proved to be a precursor of so many institutions of jasrana legislature.
Geographically, the college is located on Etah shikohabad road between 27.2240008 longitude and 78.653810 latitude. It is surrounded by beautiful fauna and flora.
The college has minimum sources of income, however the concerned authorities and Professor do their maximum for the upliftment and betterment of the institute. We have young professors to amplify the knowledge of the students coming off very backward areas.
We have very honest and sincere examination system. We have one NSS unit, one unit of rovers and rangers, sports department, computer wings, a lovely playground and holy shrine of Lord Krishna facing the East. One of the most wonderful things of the college quality is that the number of the girls is larger than that of the boys.
The college is under the process of the NAAC evaluation for the purpose of which the coordinator as well as the members of IQ AC are fully devoted and dedicated. The mission of the institution is not only to develop intellectual quotient but also to develop emotional quotient of the students.
At last,I think all the positive forces working for the welfare of the college and I also negative forces who proved to be boosters for my hardworking professors, respected members of the management and for the third and the 4th class employees of the college. Honesty is sine qua non of the institution.
